While Michelle pursued adventures in the city after graduating, Patti and Lance remained rooted in Howard, forging deep connections within the extraordinary local community.

Over the years, Patti's desire to fill a void in the area led to the inception of Our Place on the River. With decades of management experience and a genuine love for people, Patti's dream of creating a gathering space where friends and neighbors could connect and create lasting memories became a reality. Meanwhile, Michelle's extensive background in the hospitality industry, honed through years of managing restaurants and organizing events in Denver, made her an invaluable addition to the team.

Our Place is founded on a deep sense of community, aiming to be a hub where locals and visitors can gather for quality food and camaraderie. We offer two distinct experiences: the cozy Our Place Cafe for breakfast and lunch, and the laid-back Dusty Rose Roadhouse for BBQ and cocktails. We're committed to serving our community by hosting events and creating a welcoming space for all.
